PEAR TREE LOG

pear tree log: I started this blog to keep my younger son, Jonny, in touch with life in Lincolnshire, while he spent a year working in China. That year turned into five! Now he is home and training to become a physics teacher. This is simply a patchwork quilt of some of the things I enjoy - life in rural Lincolnshire, our animals, friends, architecture, books, the gardens, and things of passing interest.

GOING QUACKERS!

Proceed with caution - don't say I haven't warned you!

Fill your brain with ducks.  Write limericks about ducks and enter Knatolee's Crazy World Wide Limerick Competition.

It is free, it is fun - but it is highly addictive.

I used to have a life, now all I do is write about ducks.

I guarantee you'll have fun.

  4. Trying again to get this comment through. Found you via Dom's blog.

    Remember when prepping a mallard
    To sing it a beautiful ballard.
    The duck will relax
    And practice it's sax;
    Then run headless all round the barnyard.
