I am on one of my nocturnal rambles. While waiting for the kettle to boil I had a check on emails, blog, etc.
I noticed that I've had a couple of visits from someone in Cambodia and also South Korea, so I am assuming that it was you. Still no news about Davina, although she is suddenly blooming and looks really well. I'll let you know, via text, email, blog, etc. as soon as there is any news.
The new lamp is now in situ and is proving very useful, the channelling in the corner of the utility room has been filled, smoothed and is in the process of being painted before the coat racks can go back up. You will have no cause to complain about the standard of workmanship!!
The storms and winds of last week brought lots of small branches down, as well as a few larger ones, so we will have to have a tidying session in the wood, one day this week. We also need to do a bit of branch trimming because the telephone line is perilously close to being whipped around by some of them - again. I think we'll have to go for a fairly vigorous trim along that side of the wood.
Right, bed is calling to me now.
When do you go back to work? Anyway, enjoy what remains of your holiday. Drop a line when you can.

Hi Meggie, I often find that around 2 or 3am my mind becomes very active - nothing useful, or creative, just active.
ReplyDeleteLittle did Jonny realise what he was starting when he encouraged me to begin this blog. However, I am so glad that he did because I love meeting people like you, chatting and getting glimpses of the things you do - if that doesn't sound too voyeuristic!
