PEAR TREE LOG
pear tree log: I started this blog to keep my younger son, Jonny, in touch with life in Lincolnshire, while he spent a year working in China. That year turned into five! Now he is home and training to become a physics teacher. This is simply a patchwork quilt of some of the things I enjoy - life in rural Lincolnshire, our animals, friends, architecture, books, the gardens, and things of passing interest.

When the Bough Breaks...
Since I took the header photograph this morning the cats have been having a little fun climbing the apple tree. Normally this would be fine, but at the moment the tree is groaning under the weight of many apples ... add the weight of a cat doing a tightrope act and down comes the bough, puss-cat, apples, bird-feeder and all. Tonight we are having apple crumble and custard for tea, thanks girls!

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear you were planning to have apple crumble as it should be, with custard.
